Is It Really Free?
Yes. Absolutely. We decided to make the DriveSpace 24 Chrome browser plugin
completely free for commercial and non-commercial users of Google Drive.
Privacy Policy, Permissions and Terms
- The DriveSpace 24 extension is only compatible
with the Google Chrome web browser on Chromebooks, Windows PCs and Apple
Mac computers. This is due to it using the user credentials that Chrome
utilises to log into your Google account.
- It is possible to be logged into several
Google accounts in the same browser session, but only one account at a
time in your Chrome browser (including ChromeOS). This primary Chrome
account is the one that DriveSpace 24 will use.
- When you first use DriveSpace 24 it will
ask you to give it permission to access your Google account and specifically
Google Drive. This is essential for it to be able to work out your storage
quota, used space and the list of recently accessed content. If you do
not give the extension permission to read this information from your Google
account then it cannot work. If you decide you no longer want to use DriveSpace
24, you can revoke the permissions of 3rd party apps from the "Security"
section of your Google account here: https://myaccount.google.com/permissions
- Your Google authentication information
and the data from your Google Drive is not stored or sent anywhere by
this extension, outside of your web browser. We (Statistics 24) do not
have access to it and it never gets sent to our servers or network. All
communication is strictly between your web browser and Google.
- All data accessed by the DriveSpace 24
browser extension is "read only". The permission it requests
to access Google Drive is the bare minimum required for its functionality
and purely for reading the relevant stats. It is not possible for it to
make any changes to your Google Drive or write anything back to it.
- We may update the terms of use for this
software from time to time so you should return to this page periodically
to ensure you agree with them. We reserve the right to discontinue DriveSpace
24 at any time.
- All parts of DriveSpace 24 created by Statistics
24 Limited are protected by copyright laws and must not be copied, altered
or distributed by anyone else without our written permission.

Pinning the Browser Extension
The easiest way to make sure the browser extension is always one click
away, is to pin it to your Chrome browser. To do this, once installed, you
can click on the "Extensions" icon (which looks like a jigsaw
piece) and click the pin button next to "DriveSpace 24". This
will make it stick to the header bar in your browser so you can quickly
check your Google Drive space and open recently accessed files and folders.
